Stereotypes about Nueva Guadalupe city.

 

In Nueva Guadalupe department of San Miguel we are known as ''PLANCHADOS'' and this is because in that city began to buy sewing machines and in this same way the first 6 tailors which two of them were my grandparents, in ancient times people did wear ironed clothes and probably that is the origin of this nickname if we can call it that way, from my point of view until no more than 3 years ago we were still recognized by our clothes, however the new generations are not, so now the stereotypes are wrong but they still call us this way although we are proud of it, so much so that in posts in different platforms of social networks they say Nueva Guadalupe land of ''Planchados''.
